I'd never heard of it, actually. I was never a diehard fan of the show, be it old or new. Some of their guests have already been here, but I wouldn't mind meeting Noah Hathaway someday.

I've thought about going, but the Dallas Comic Con has first priority to me. Once I see how much money I'm going to spend at it, then I'll decide if I'm going to Galacticon. It would only be to meet Jamie Bamber and Aaron Douglas.

Aside from the 2009 Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL, I've never been to any conventions outside of the Dallas area. The main reason is money, since I'm on Supplemental Security. It cost about $500 for two days in Illinois, for roundtrip bus fare, food, and the hotel. I did get to meet Phil Morris and Justin Hartley, though.   They also have a 15-foot Superman statue by the town courthouse; I was squinting so bad in this shot, because of the sunlight.  |

I'm going. I mentioned it to Sam Witwer last weekend at the Sci-Fi Expo, and he said he'd love to come. Especially since his Being Human co-star Sam Huntington will be there for Comicpalooza.

I don't doubt that. The guest list for the Dallas shows has gotten amazing over the last couple of years. Now all we need are some Doctor Who guest (hint,hint).

I live in Houston so I will definitely be at Galacticon!
Really hoping they are able to add James Callis and especially Katee Sackhoff!
