Mark Millar says NO WAY he's writing a comic sequel to his successful mini series.
But director Timur Bekmambetov (Dark Watch) says he already has an idea and plans for it.
I'm really unsure about this movie.
From what I've heard, there have been some major changes to the original story and I'm not quite sure about the casting.
James McAvoy as Weslie: Uh..yeah. His portrayel as a goat/human thing in Narnia TOTALLY says that this guy can be The Killer. THE......KILLER.
Angelina Jolie: As the Fox? Really? I mean...sure. She wielded two guns in Tomb Raider so why not give her the role of the black chick born from the ghetto that becomes a cat burglar. Did I mention the character in the comic is BLACK?
Morgan Freeman: According to imdb he's playing some character named Sloan. Who..who the hell is Sloan?? Am I having a brainfart and maybe Sloan is F**kwit's real name in the comic and I'm just not realizing it?
Don't get me wrong. They're all fine actors and the director did fine and dandy with his little goth Russian flick, but I haven't felt this iffy about a comic adaptation since Daredevil. And we ALL saw what happend there. Well...all of us except FOX and Marvel who decided to give MSJ d**n Ghost Rider to ruin. *sigh*
I'm going to go play in the road for a bit.
