From Screened.com
DarkHorizons.com is reporting that Smallville’s Tom Welling has signed on for a Teen Wolf remake, although he will not star in the title role first inhabited by Michael J. Fox and later by Jason Bateman. Apparently the producers — in yet another attempt to breathe life into a film franchise that was mediocre at best — will be mixing things up by casting a female in the still vacant role. Honestly, if we’ve gotten to the point where we’re simply going to remake 80s schlock but with gender reversed casting, producers have sunk to a new low.
Prediction: Bad CGI wolf hair abounds, as well as a hilarious montage about a female teen wolf trying to use makeup.

Jesus f**kING CHRIST! Some things should be left alone!!! Original is best... god damn money greedy bastards of Hollywood... soon M. J. Fox makes a statement that points out that HE created that character and should not be played by long guys...

Somewhere some guy said to himself: "Yeah, a teen wolf movie remake, that's the ticket!", then continued twisting the knife he stabbed himself in the knee with... in pleasure.
