If you enjoy World War II history, there's a great multi-part documentary on PBS entitled, "Auschwitz.” Most of us tend to think that the Holocaust was something that was always in place and part of the Nazi machinery for the entire conduct of the war. However, as this documentary shows, the legendary Nazi efficiency was lacking as there were tremendous legal, moral and logistical hurdles to be overcome before the “Final Solution” could be implemented. The documentary tells the stories of the perpetrators, the bystanders and the victims. Stories like the high ranking Nazi officer that drove home drunk following a party. As he slept it off in his car he nearly asphyxiated from the carbon monoxide from his still running vehicle. Later, he told this story at a Nazi meeting and thus the idea for the gas chambers was born! Or the story of the leader of the Jewish ghetto in Lodz who molested the young girls and extorted favors from the other Jews. Anyone he disliked was deported to the concentration camps. Ironically, his position did not save him or his family. Following each episode is a short roundtable with Nazi scholars and children of Holocaust survivors hosted by author Linda Ellerbee. This is riveting stuff and something that everyone should see lest it be forgotten.

I've had this conversation with me friend Andy before, but for some weird reasons Nazis fascinate me to no end. Give me a special on the History channel about Nazis in America or the KKK and I'm watching. Does that make me weird? Jaime Mendoza tracethis.blogspot.com/

Evil has always held sway over the weakminded. Look how Mark W. fawns all over that creepy Tim Bradstreet art.

I recorded a show called Nazis: The Occult Conspiracy. Looks to be interesting. I'll let you know what I thought when I watch it.

I've seen a doco about the occult aspects of the Nazi "religion". All that huewy about them worshiping Thor and the other Norse Gods and how they are the true ancestors of the Gods and Yadadada... It's interesting but way out there! Jaime Mendoza tracethis.blogspot.com/
