Collectors of comic books, action figures, statues, HeroClix, toys, and other collectibles will want to take note of the Comic, Toy, and Collectibles Swap Meet on July 29, 2006. Held in the Bob Duncan Center Garden Room at Vandergriff Park in Arliington, TX (yes, this is an indoor event), the Swap Meet brings together a variety of retailers and individuals selling a vast array of fine collectibles, many at bargain prices. Comics as low as twenty cents each! Many retailers attending will be using the Swap Meet as a clearance sale and many individuals are selling off their collections!
The Comic, Toy, and Collectibles Swap Meet runs from 11 AM to 6 PM and admission is just $1.00 (half price with the flyer available from many DFW area retailers). Admission is free to members of Fandom at Random DFW (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fandomatrandomdfw/) or the DFW Sci-Fi/Fantasy Meetup group. Members of either group can download free admission flyers from the Files sections of the group pages so be sure to join today!
