Hello to all of you great Texas fans. My name is Chris and I work for the Give Life Foundation of Herndon, VA (http://www.give-life.org). Our staff had the pleasure of meeting many of you at Ben and Mark's shows in 2006: the Sci-Fi Expo in July and the Dallas Comic Con in October. The Foundation sponsored some of your favorite guests for those two shows, including Alan Tudyk, Ron Glass, and Amy Acker. Some of you may have seen us at Wizard World Los Angeles last month with Zachary Quinto (Sylar) and James Kyson Lee (Ando) of Heroes.
I just want to let all of you know about another great show that we're heavily involved with -- AdventureCon in Knoxville, TN. Virtually every genre in pop culture is being represented at AdventureCon, including guests from Star Wars, Star Trek (both the original series and spinoff series), Farscape, Ghost Hunters, James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean, South Park, Lost, and Superman. In addition, three professional wrestling icons -- Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart (a WWE Hall of Famer), Brutus The Barber Beefcake, and Buff Bagwell -- have recently been added to the roster, with MANY more exciting guests soon to be announced. In addition, there are lots of great comic artists already confirmed, including Ethan Van Sciver, Joe Staton, Eric Basaldua, and Billy Tan. There will be some really innovative programming at AdventureCon, so please take a few moments to check out the website (http://www.adventurecon.com) and consider joining us in June after you get back from Celebration 4!
