I've wanted an X-BOX 360 for many moons. I've pretty much been playing on my friend's for the last forever. But for those few of you out there that are married, dropping 400 plus dollars on something is a rare thing.
So imagine my suprise when I get home from work a little while ago and my wife purchased a......Wii?!?!
Well...I wanted a Wii also but.....X-Box......360???
"But honey, I thought we could have lots of fun on a Wii together. Look at the games! Trauma Center, Cooking Mama, Paper Mario, Mario Party! It'll be fun!" my wife exclaims.
"But...but....Gears of War and Halo and Lost Planet and Crackdown and....and.....*sigh* let's play Wii Sports pack."
Ok, it may sound like I'm bashing the Wii. Don't get me wrong, I actually had a blast playing it and I can play my favorite Gamecube games on it. It's a lot of fun. It really is.
But where are my shooters on the Wii? Where are my action games for the Wii? I like to run around and blow up and shoot stuff. I wanna steal people's cars, get chased by cops, plant a sticky grenade on somebody, and use a chainsaw on my enemies.
Where are these games for the Wii?!
The future for the Wii games looks promising. Manhunt 2 looks VERY interesting and I can't wait until Star Wars:Unleashed comes out (sadly it was pushed back until 2008) but I want something NOW. I can only play RESIDENT EVIL 4 for so long.
But either way....MARIO PARTY + DRINKING GAMES = FUN
