Dear sweet Jesus Heath Ledger is the winner of the Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
We all knew it was gonna happen.
If it didn't happen, everybody knew that "People will die..."
It's a great day for fanboys (or.....BIGfanboys! Eh? EH?! EH?!?! ....eh....)as the Dark Knight has been brought into the 1 BILLION dollar club and has now bought some prestige with Heath Ledger winning an oscar.
Sadly the Dark Knight was ignored in all the other "major catagories" but maybe, hopefully, with this win the Academy will finally realize that just because the lead character is a superhero, doesn't mean it's not a great film worthy of a gold statue. Let's win a best picture and not keep giving "Best Film/Best Director" to movies that only 20-30 people have seen.
