Nine is a musical following a middle-aged famous film director named Guido Contini. He is trying to complete his next film, but he has too many women in his life. Luisa (his wife), Carla (his sexy mistress), and Claudia (his muse and protege). Guido struggles to find harmony in his professional and personal lives, as he engages in his various dramatic relationships.
Based on the original screenplay co-written by Federico Fellini, and adapted by the late great Anthony Minghella and Michael Tolkin (The Player), Rob Marshall (Chicago, Memoirs of a Geisha) directs this film, which stars the great Daniel Day Lewis as Contini, and features a veritable who's who of female Hollywood talent. Look for Marion Cotillard (Academy Award winner for La vie en rose), Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Sophia Loren, and Stacy Ferguson (Fergie ya'll!). Here's a more close-up view of the leading ladies... if ya ask me, Fergie and Penelope Cruz and looking the best.
